7/15/24 - Monday

Highlights: Elodie was home today and she had a really great day. Did some craft projects, made lunch with Elliott, took a long nap, went to target to get new shoes. Just generally a lot of listening and fun times with her. There was one moment in the car when I complimented her on how thoughtful she was being and she very politely said, "thank you" that just made me feel very proud to be her parent.

Bummer: woke up with a really bad headache (which did go away!), so so so hot outside so we've been spending all our time inside and between that and not really being able to work out due to the boot, I feel kind of claustrophobic.

Hilarity: we got a chocolate croissant as a treat and she proceeded to open it and eat the chocolate bar out - classy!
